Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for light quantity detection which can sufficiently secure a dynamic range with respect to the maximum quantities of light that a plurality of light sources require by adjusting the light quantity detection sensitivity (amplification gain) of the respective light sources when the quantities of light emitted by the plurality of light sources are detected by using a single element. SOLUTION: The device includes a photodetector which receives the quantity of light emitted by at least one of the plurality of light sources and an amplification part which selects a gain, amplifies the quantity of light received by the photodetector with the selected gain, and outputs the amplified light quantity as a detected light quantity. Therefore, when the light quantities of the light sources are detected, the dynamic range can sufficiently be secured to enable efficient APC. |
