IMAGE SYNTHESIZING DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image synthesizing device and a program enabling a graphical expression in such a manner as to easily follow the track of movement of such a subject as an athlete, or the transition of his or her form in motion. SOLUTION: The image synthesizing device comprises a means 110 for creating a movement model by anticipating the movement of the subject in graphics, and creating subject movement information as information on the contour of the image of the subject or movement information about the characteristic points of the subject, based on the image of the subject appearing in a previously taken image; a means 120 for creating, in synchronism with the movement of the subject imaged, a key signal used in specifying an area encompassing an image of the subject in graphics, based on the subject movement information created by the movement model; a means 130 for extracting the image in the area specified by the key signal as an image of the subject; and a means 140 for displaying the extracted images in an overlapping fashion.
