Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg having good handling property without depending on the method of modifying a resin and adhesion of powder on the surface. SOLUTION: This prepreg comprises a carbon fiber and a thermosetting resin and its surface resin covering rate by a matrix resin is 40-85% of the total prepreg surface. In this method of manufacturing a prepreg, a bunch of carbon fiber aligned in a direction is sandwiched by a release paper coated with a thermosetting resin, then it is nipped with at least a pair of heated metal nip rolls, and further the thermosetting resin is impregnated into the carbon fiber by being pressed to a heated metal roll group comprising at least two rolls.
