Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize condition between drawing speed and twisting condition in a method of drawing an optical fiber while continuously twisting a coated optical fiber. SOLUTION: A 1st guiding roller 4 and a 2nd guiding roller 5 which regulate running positions of the coated optical fiber 1 are provided while keeping an interval to each other in a running direction Z of the coated optical fiber 1, and between the guide rollers are provided a 1st roller 2, and a 2nd roller 3 which are in contact with the coated optical fiber 1 while turning around the center axes O directing X direction, move reciprocally along X direction reversely to each other, so as to continuously twist the coated optical fiber 1. The coated optical fiber is depressed by the 2nd reciprocating roller 3 by an amount of depression d2 which is >=0.1% to =4% to =300 m/min.
