RUBBER COATED HARD ROLLER HAVING EXCELLENT DURABILITY AND BELT TYPE CONTINUOUS PLATE MANUFACTURING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber coated hard roller showing excellent durability even under the high-temperature and high-humidity atmosphere, and to provide a belt type continuous plate manufacturing device using the same to manufacture plate products with high accuracy of thickness. SOLUTION: This rubber coated hard roller is formed of a thick barrel part made from a hard body and a center shaft narrower than the barrel part, and a surface of the barrel part is coated with a rubber layer, and the rubber layer is provided with multiple through holes reaching the surface of the barrel part to improve the durability. This roller is used for a belt surface holding roller in a belt type continuous plate manufacturing device formed of a pair of endless belts running in the same direction at the same speed and continuous gaskets running in the condition that they are pinched by the belt surfaces near both sides of the pair of endless belts.
