MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF DECK CROSS MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a deck cross member capable of connecting the end part of the deck cross member to a front pillar accurately and firmly. SOLUTION: Mounting brackets 61 and 62 are disposed on the front pillar 21. A cross member bracket 70 is disposed on the end part 32 of the deck cross member 30. A reference surface facing to a predetermined position in the back- and-forth direction of a vehicle is disposed on the mounting brackets 61 and 62. Positioning surface parts 73 and 74 extending from a contact surface in contact with an inner wall surface 21a of the front pillar 21 to the direction of the vehicle width is disposed on the cross member bracket 70. The cross member bracket 70 is fixed to the inner wall surface 21a of the front pillar 21 from outside the vehicle by bolts 91, 92 and 93 in state where the cross member bracket 70 is temporarily fixed to the mounting brackets 61 and 62 by a bolt 68 and a nut 90.
