Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system for an automobile preventing impairment of following performance during emergency steering of a steering wheel due to deterioration or the like of battery voltage in an automobile equipped with an electric power steering device. SOLUTION: An alternator and a driving power source of the electric power steering device are directly connected, a switch is provided between the alternator and a battery, and opening and closing of the switch is controlled by a switch drive control means on the basis of predetermined information.
