METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING ROTARY CUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a rotary cutter suppressing vibration of a machine and having excellent control responsiveness. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a first pulse encoder 7 mounted on a motor for driving a cutter, a second pulse encoder 15 mounted on an opposite side of the motor of the cutter, a computing element 10 for calculating a speed reference of the motor for driving the cutter, a speed adjuster 11 for preparing a torque command, a first subtracter 19 for preparing a difference (VB-VR) of rotational speed of the cutter VB and rotational speed VR detected by the second pulse encoder 15, a differential speed correction circuit 20 for preparing the differential speed correction VD by performing a function arithmetic processing for the difference (VB-VR), and a second subtracter 18 for subtracting the differential speed correction VD from the torque command.
