Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element being excellent in the efficiencies of deodorization and dehumidification as well as in heat exchange rate while it can achieve a high cell density although being thin. SOLUTION: The filter element comprises a porous film or a porous layer with open cells which is obtained by mixing a polar solvent soluble polymer of 100 pts.wt. with a functional inorganic material of 20 to 500 pts.wt. in solid ratio, with an average diameter of the open cells being 30 μm or less.
