Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sound band expansion technique with less calculation. SOLUTION: A method for expanding a sound band and a method for processing sound image localization include: a process for applying a high-pass filter 20 to an input signal to fetch a high-band component having a cut-off frequency or higher; a process for fetching the frequency of the high-band component; a process for multiplying the frequency of the fetched high-band component to obtain an expanded high-band component having a multiplied cut-off frequency or higher; and a process for combining the input signal and the expanded high-band component to obtain a combination band signal.
