SYSTEM, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR MANAGING OPTICAL TRANSMISSION LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission line management system capable of excluding factors such as lowering of spatial resolution and sampling resolution to lower the precision of measurement to the utmost. SOLUTION: The optical transmission line management system 10 manages an optical transmission line 31 by using measuring instruments 201, 211 that are arranged at test stations 20, 21 installed on the optical transmission line 31, insert test light to the optical transmission line 31 and measure backward scattered light of the inserted test light, and is provided with: a measurement instruction transmitting part 101 that transmits a measurement instruction to the measuring instruments 201, 211 to insert the test light of conditions corresponding to a half length of the optical transmission line 31; a measurement result receiving part 102 that receives data based on the backward scattered light measured by the measuring instruments 201, 211 on the basis of the transmitted measurement instruction; and a fault judging part 103 that judges whether a fault is caused on the optical transmission line 31 on the basis of the received data.
