Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplifier which realizes low distortion and high efficiency operation. SOLUTION: An inductor 202 constituting an input matching circuit is inserted in series in an input side of an amplifying transistor 201. To an inductor input side, a diode 203 as a distortion compensation circuit is connected in parallel with the amplifying transistor 201. A capacitor as a constituent of the input matching circuit is shown by 206. An output matching circuit constituted of a capacitor and an inductor is shown with a reference numeral as 207. A choke inductor which breaks an AC path between a collector and a collector power source is shown by 208. DC blocking capacitors are shown by 209, 210. A base bias circuit is shown by 211. An input terminal and an output terminal of this amplifying circuit are shown by 212, 213.
