MICROFILM READER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge and project an image on a microfilm having large reduction magnification in full size or in larger size than it, to optionally set an enlarging rate and to realize the compaction of a microfilm reader. SOLUTION: This microfilm reader is made what is called a front projection type one having a function to directly project and display a film image and a function to display digital data by projecting the film image and the digital data to a screen installed on the outside of the film reader or a surface usable instead of the screen. Or it is made what is called a rear projection type one having the function to directly project and display the film image and the function to display the digital data by projecting the film image and the digital data to a screen incorporated on the front surface of the film reader.
