Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability of a tire and workability during tire-making by improving a bead filler rubber composition, and to provide a pneumatic tire in which operation stability of the tire is compatible with ride quality. SOLUTION: In this bead filler rubber composition, 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component, 1-8 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyamide, a polyolefin, 30-70 pts.wt. of hard carbon and 10-50 pts.wt. of soft carbon are compounded. Preferably, a masterbatch of the composition is compounded such that the thermoplastic polyamide is dispersed in the form of fibers in a matrix composed of the polyolefin and the elastomer. In the pneumatic tire, the bead filler rubber composition is arranged in the peripheral side of a bead core and an oriented direction of the thermoplastic polyamide short fibers is preferably almost rectangular to the diameter direction of the tire.
