SOLUTION: A zirconia sensor thin membrane on the two surfaces of which porous electrodes are formed is held with a ceramic porous base substance 10. The ceramic porous base substance 10 is composed of a three-dimentional network structure having solid-core skeletons 12, comprising sintered microscopic particles 11, among which continuous pores 13 communicating with each other are formed. The porosity shall be 60-98 volume percent.
