Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a coating mate rial for simultaneous patterning on double side, by which optional coating film patterns are precisely applied on both surfaces of a base material whose dimen sional stability is poor. SOLUTION: The patterns of the coating films A and B are simultaneously pressed to be stuck on both surfaces of the base material by laminating a 1st supporting sheet 101 holding the coating film A on a base material supporting sheet 103 on which the base material M is supported to form a 1st stage laminated sheet in which the coating film A faces the base material M, stripping the base material supporting sheet 103 from the laminated sheet, laminating a 2nd supporting sheet 106 holding the coating film B on the surface of the stripped base material supporting sheet 103 to form a 2nd stage laminated sheet in which the coating film B faces the opposite surface of the base material M and inserting the laminated sheet in a coating film pattern forming mechanism 500 and pressing.
