SOLUTION: A stretcher is equipped with: a first shaft 2a which is fixed to a frame of the stretcher; a second shaft 2b which is provided in the headrest; a supporting arm 3 which is mounted turnably on the first shaft 2a and turnably supports the second shaft 2b; a turning preventing member 6 which has an inclined part 4 to be pressed, receiving a pressing force, and a retaining part 5, pressed against a peripheral surface of the first or second shaft 2a or 2b, and which can get close to/be separated from the first or second shaft 2a or 2b; a wedge member 8 which has a pressing inclined part 7 pressing the inclined part 4 of the member 6 while sliding, and presses the member 6 against the first or second shaft 2a or 2b by a wedge action produced between the inclined parts 7 and 4; and a load imparting means 9 which imposes a load on the wedge member 8, and maintains a state in which the first and second shafts 2a and 2b are fastened. |
