DISK DEVICE AND DISK TRAY USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which secures smooth movement of a disk tray therein and prevents vibration of the disk tray. SOLUTION: A disk device 1 includes a disk device main body 2, a disk tray 70 on which a disk is placed and which has side parts 72L and 72R installed on both sides of a disk placing part and supported so as to be able to move between a disk reproducing position and an attachment/detachment position, and a chassis 40 which is fixed to the disk device main body and is provided with projecting parts 43L and 43R for locking the perpendicular displacement of the side part above the side parts and is provided with guide projections 44a, 44b, and 44c for guiding the movement of the disk tray below the side parts. The side parts have flexible end parts 77L and 77R, and the end parts are elastically deformed and are held between the guide projections and the projecting parts to prevent vibration of the disk dray when the disk tray is moved to the disk reproducing position.
