PLANETARIUM EQUIPMENT AND STAR FIELD PROJECTION ORIGINAL PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetarium equipment and a star field projection original plate which can project the Milky Way, etc., with realistic touches and with excellent gradation between magnitudes of stars. SOLUTION: The star field projection original plate is constituted of a Milky Way area 1 corresponding to the Milky Way, star nebulae, star clusters, etc., and the other non-Milky Way area 2. The Milky Way area 1 is composed of a high density area 11 where the stars are highly accumulated and the other low density area 12. The marginal magnitudes of processed stars are made to be in different values in each area. By using the projection original plate, the star field including the Milky Way, etc., can be projected in good condition without making the inside of a dome bright.
