PERMEABILITY MEASURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring means for heightening the efficiency of a permeability measuring work and reliability of various products, for example, for reducing dispersion of the products in a lot, and a measuring device using the measuring means. SOLUTION: This permeability measuring method is characterized by providing a reference coil for forming a magnetic path forming a magnetic potential in a gap part and generating a magnetic flux on the magnetic path, a pick-up coil for detecting magnetic flux fluctuation in the magnetic path, scanning a sample of magnetic metal material supplied continuously from a roll to the gap part on the magnetic path, while generating the magnetic flux from the reference coil, and detecting an induced current of the pick-up coil.
