SOLUTION: In this air conditioner provided with a wind direction drive mechanism 2a provided in an indoor machine 2 and the remote controller 1, the remote controller 1 is provided with a wind direction adjusting switch 1a and a plurality of display parts 5 to 8 and indicates that operation mode becomes wind direction automatic operation mode by a plurality of display parts when the wind direction adjusting switch 1a is pressed, and the indoor machine 2 operates the wind direction drive mechanism 2a.
