Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous regenerative trap capable of suitably regenerating a particulate trap at all times. SOLUTION: In this continuous regenerative trap, an oxidation catalyst 4 arranged on an inlet side of the particulate trap 3 is constituted to have larger oxidation effect on an outer periphery side than on a center side. Thus, the oxidation reaction (combustion) of the particulates is accelerated on the outer periphery side of the particulate trap 3 and the accumulation of the particulates on the outer periphery side of the particulate trap 3 is restrained. Accordingly, the particulates are evenly accumulated in the particulate trap 3.
