SOLUTION: A wall part at the connection position with the service pipe 2 in a newly provided pipe conduit 10 is cooled by supplying liquefied gas LG into the service pipe 2 prior to the formation of a hole communicating with the service pipe 2 in the newly provided pipe conduit 10 after installing the newly provided pipe conduit 10 to cause a difference in temperature between the cooled wall part and its surrounding part, and frost having a shape corresponding to a connection region of the service pipe 2 is made to adhere to the connection position of the service pipe on an inner face of the newly provided pipe conduit 10 due to the difference in temperature in order to specify the connection position of the service pipe 2 from the inside of the newly provided pipe conduit 10 based on the change of appearance.
