Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for holding, opening and arresting a blade cartridge for an exchangeable cartridge razor. SOLUTION: A razor 10 for shaving includes a grip 12 and an exchangeable blade cartridge 14. The grip is provided with a cartridge holding, opening and arresting mechanism 16. The mechanism is provided with two levers 24a and 24b pivotally supported on the grip so as to be rotatable, cartridge holding structures on the outer end parts of the two arms of the levers, a spring 38 for operating the two levers in harmony and forming or releasing holding relation between the complementary holding structure body of the cartridge and the lever holding structure bodies and a cam means. Then the mechanism is locked at both a cartridge holding position and a cartridge opening/arresting position.
