PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel presence information transmission technology capable of realizing communication not using words by using a mobile terminal. In the case that the set item 15 indicates 'pleasant ←→ sorrowful' and the set item 22 shows 'leisure ←→ busy' when the terminal 1 enters a figure 7 denoting a little sorrowful state as the presence information of the item 15 and enters a figure 2 indicating a leisure state as the presence information of the item 22, for example, the terminal 1 modulates a ringer signal of a ringer melody or the like assigned to a sender and provides an output in a way of modulating the musical key corresponding to the item 15 to be lowered by the long second and increasing the tempo corresponding to the item 22. Embedding the presence information to a function of informing users about the arrival of information can effectively exchange the presence information in this way.
