BLACK BOX FOR HOUSING PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable printing plates unpacked in a dark room to be housed in a laminated state in a black box without being transferred in the black box in which unexposed printing plates are housed in the laminated state and which is carried by a cart to a plate making device. SOLUTION: In the black box 1 for housing the printing plate which houses unexposed printing plates P unpacked in the dark room in the laminated state, is carried by the cart 7 from inside the dark room via a bright room to a position of the plate making device and is stored in a plate feeding device A of the plate making device, the black box 1 is constituted of a skid 8 which has a bottom plate 8b being a little larger than size of the printing plate P capable of mounting the unexposed printing plates P in the laminated state thereon above a load carrying platform 8a and which is provided with plural legs 8c below the load carrying platform 8a, a square-shaped frame body 15 which is fitted to an outer peripheral part of the bottom plate 8b with freely attaching/detaching, surrounds the unexposed printing plates P superposed in the laminated state on the bottom plate 8b and which has light shielding characteristic and a cap body 16 which is put on an upper end part of the frame body 15 with freely attaching/detaching and covers an upper opening of the frame body 15 with freely opening/closing so as to prevent outside light from entering in the frame body 15 and which has light shielding characteristic.
