METHOD FOR REPAIRING RIB PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily repairing rib pipe in a short time and providing firm and watertight repair when rib pipe is largely damaged especially when rib pipe is largely damaged after underground embedding layout. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the repairing method for damaged rib pipe having a plurality of annular independent reinforcement ribs provided on an outer circumference of plastic pipe at roughly regular interval. The repairing method includes a first process removing a damaged part of rib pipe and covering and fixing the removed part with two half cut pipes longer than the removed part and having inner diameter roughly same as an outer circumference of the reinforcement rib, a second process applying epoxy resin curing type adhesive agent continuously and higher than the reinforcement rib on a groove of rib pipe surrounded by two reinforcement rib having the half cut pipe end part contact and whole circumference of the half cut pipe end part, and a third process winding heat contraction adhesive tape having adhesive agent layer laminated over heat contraction film to cover epoxy resin curing adhesive agent, surrounding half cut pipes and rib pipes and contracting the heat contraction adhesive tape by heating the same.
