Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable circulation pump used in a water heater capable of improving its durability and reducing generation of noises, and a space-saving type water heater of low-noise and a long service life using the pump. SOLUTION: In this axial flow pump used in a water heater, a motor part 10, a pump part 20 and a discharge part 30 are integrated, and a rotor 21 having a magnetic material 26 on the inner periphery of a stator 12 is rotatably supported at the center of the motor part 10. A flow passage 28 from a suction port 11 is installed in parallel to a support shaft near the shaft of the rotor 21, and an impeller 22 installed to the rotor 21 is rotated in the pump part 20, and the water flowing from the flow passage 28 is transferred to a discharge port 31 of the discharge part 30.
