Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized fuel reformer for efficiently transferring the heat generated in a combustion catalyst part to a steam reformation catalyst part and enhancing the formation of the reformed gas in the steam reformation catalyst part. SOLUTION: The contact surface 53 of the combustion catalyst part 3 with the steam reformation catalyst part 4 is formed into such a conical shape that the height H in the axial direction on vertical cross section is made shorter successively as it goes from the peripheral part 51 to the central part 52 on the vertical cross section of the part 4. As a result, the heat of reaction in the part 3 can be transferred efficiently to the part 4 and the formation of the reformed gas can be enhanced. |
