Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor allowing for use at a high temperature of 150 deg.C. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor comprises a capacitor element which winds an anodic electrode foil, a cathodic electrode foil, and a separator. The capacitor is impregnated with an electrolyte for energizing, an outer case for storing the capacitor element, and a sealer for sealing an opening of the outer case, includes ethylene glycol and benzoic acid or its salts as the electrolyte for energizing, employs an electrolyte for energizing having pH adjusted to 6.5 or below, and a butyl rubber which is produced by peroxide-curing a copolymer of isoprene, isobutylene, and divinylbenzene as the sealer, thus making it possible to suppress the deterioration of the sealer at the temperature of 150 deg.C and electronic characteristics.
