PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability and reliability through an appropriate power control such as raising the control speed. SOLUTION: With the induction heating cooker provided with a power level setting means 12 allowing a user to set power level suitable for his cooking, and a driving signal generating means 13 generating and outputting driving signals of a switching element 6 based on power control volume corresponding to the power level set by the power level setting means 12, a loading state detecting means 11 is fitted having areas divided in a plural number, which outputs area-correspondent values correspondent to output signals of an input current detecting means 8 and a resonance voltage detecting means 9. The driving signal generating means 13 controls input power by changing rate of increase and decrease of power control volume in correspondence with the area-correspondent values outputted from the loading state detecting means 11.
