| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the amount of information for exchanging information and minimize man-hours for preparation of a database by a storage control server when information on configuration of a storage system is changed. SOLUTION: This storage control system comprises a storage system having a configuration information file for storing configuration information and updating history information necessary for operating the storage system and a storage control server having a data base for storing all configuration information and updating history information for the control of the storage system and a storage control means for issuing a request for change of the configuration information to the storage system and reflecting the results of the change of the configuration information on the data base. When the request for change of the configuration information is given, the applicable configuration information and updating history information in the configuration information file are updated, and only the changed configuration information and updating history information are transferred to the storage control server, and the configuration information and updating history information in the data base are updated. |
