Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for exposing a flexographic plate material in which the top face of the water-developable synthetic rubber-base photosensitive resin layer of the flexographic plate material comprising a substrate and the photosensitive resin layer is coated with a plastic transparent film having 1-50 μm thickness and >=9.8 MPa modulus of elasticity in tension and the plate material is imagewise exposed from the top face of the transparent film. SOLUTION: In this invention, tacky adhesion of the surface of the flexographic plate material comprising the water-developable synthetic rubber- base photosensitive resin layer is prevented, adhesiveness of an original film to the photosensitive layer particularly in exposure is improved and the surface of the photosensitive layer is protected from scuffing in exposure work due to dust or ruggedness of a vinyl chloride film used in vacuum adhesion to provide a photosensitive resin plate for flexographic printing excellent in image reproducibility.
