DOOR DEVICE FOR HOME ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open/close a door in a soft manner with a simple control mechanism and to positively stop the door in case of emergency. SOLUTION: This door device for a home elevator is provided with the door 36 of circular arc shape in horizontal section provided at a cage 13 movably in the circumferential direction of the cage 13 and formed with a horizontal oblong hole 101 extending in the inner and outer direction of the door; engaging members 114, 115 fitted into the oblong hole 101 movably in the lengthwise direction of the oblong hole 101; a horizontal swing arm 113 with the engaging members 114, 115 mounted to the tip part; a rotary actuator 111 with a vertical output shaft 112 fixed to the base part of the arm 113; and an emergency stop mechanism for stopping the operation of the rotary actuator 111 in case of emergency when external pressure working in a direction of stopping the door 36 is applied to the door 36 in actuating the rotary actuator 111 to move the door 36 into the closed position.
