Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the impact force in a torque transmission route of an electric motor with the structure of a compact and elastic body in an electric power steering device. SOLUTION: This electric power steering device 10 has the electric motor 20 for giving the steering assist force to a nut 32 by screwing the nut 32 to a ball screw 30 provided in a rack shaft 15. The nut 32 is formed freely to move in the axial direction in relation to a bearing 25, and elastic bodies 51 and 52 for absorbing the impact force from the rack shaft 15 are provided between the nut 32 and the bearing 25.
