Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an install method for a printer driver which makes it possible to make a choice of whether installation is automatically performed when an interface is rebooted. SOLUTION: A printer 10 sends one of pieces of data stored in a storage part of the printer 10 corresponding to installation modes to a host computer 20 when the interface is rebooted. The host computer 20 decides the received data and starts automatic installation only when deciding that the mode is a mode allowing the automatic installation.
