POWER WINDOW DEVICE DETECTING BITE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power window device detecting bite with the reduced storage capacity of a reference value memory 13, using the average operation parameter of divided movement regions moved immediately before, as the reference value of each divided movement region. SOLUTION: This power window device is provided with a switch 2, a motor 3, a control circuit part 1 for driving the motor 3 by the operation of the switch 2, and a pulse generating part 4 for outputting pulse when the motor 3 is rotated. The control circuit part 1 has a window position computing part 9 for obtaining a window position from the output pulse of the pulse generating part 4; an operation parameter detecting part 8 for detecting the operation parameter of the motor 3; a reference value setting part 12 for setting an average operation parameter obtained by computing the average value of a plurality of operation parameters obtained for every region of a plurality of divided movement regions, as the reference value of the following divided movement regions; and an insertion detecting part 11 for comparing the latest operation parameter detected by the operation parameter detecting part 8, with the reference value and determining the occurrence of bite when the former exceeds the latter by a fixed value or more, to stop the driving of the motor 3 or to reversely drive the motor 3.
