Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting tool for a surface member capable of preventing drop of the surface member due to negative pressure by mounting the surface member using a completely dry method without use of adhesives and members such as springs. SOLUTION: The mounting tool has a retaining member 2 and a receiving member 3 whose base parts are secured to a wall surface 1 or a ceiling surface 5 with a predetermined interval therebetween. The mounting tool A is for mounting the surface member 4 on the wall surface 1 or the ceiling surface 5 by elastically sandwiching the surface member 4 between the tips of the retaining member 2 and the receiving member 3. The mounting tool is so formed that if the surface member 4 sandwiched between the retaining member 2 and the receiving member 3 is exerted with a force in a direction away from the wall surface 1 or the ceiling surface 5, the retaining member 2 and the receiving member 3 are deformed in the direction toward each other. Even if a force is exerted in the direction to peel the surface member 4 from the wall surface 1 or the ceiling surface 5, the direction of the force is changed into the direction in which the retaining member 2 and the receiving member 3 approach each other, whereby the surface member 4 is sandwiched and the force of the retaining member 2 and the receiving member 3 to sandwich the surface member 4 can be increased.
