FOOTSTEP DEVICE OF MAN-CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a guide shoe from wearing excessively and also reduce the possibility of scratching a skirt guard panel even if a footstep runs leaving the guide shoe, which is provided in the side face of the footstep, pressed against the skirt guard panel strongly for some influence or other. SOLUTION: The guide shoe 15 is provided in the side face 1a of the footstep 1 moving along the skirt guard panel 4. A part of the guide shoe 15 is projected toward the skirt guard panel 4 so that a slight gap is secured between the side face 1a and the skirt guard panel 4. The guide shoe 15 is movable along the direction leading to the skirt guard panel 4 and is supported elastically on an elastic body 8. Up to an given load, therefore, the load generated by the contact with the skirt guard panel 4 is reduced, and contact pressure is held slight.
