SOLUTION: In this device for improving tanδ of the insulating oil in an OF cable, an external circulation path consists of an oil pipe 14 for extracting and feeding back the insulating oil from the insulating oil circulation point of the joint 12 and a pump 16 in an OF cable line 10 device, and material 20 for adsorbing impurities in the insulating oil is arranged in the container 18 within this external circulation path (on its way).
