Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reproduce an MO signal having a satisfied S/N. SOLUTION: The recording and reproducing device is provided with a low- pass filter 31 for inputting an output of a 2nd amplifier 19, an amplifier circuit 32 for amplifying an output of the low-pass filter 31, an A/D conversion circuit 33 for converting an output of the amplifier circuit 32 to a digital signal, two circuits of a 1st D/A conversion circuit 35 and 2nd D/A conversion circuit 36 for converting an output of a control circuit (CPU) 13 to analog signals, and a storage circuit (memory) 37. Then, current-voltage transforming amplification factors for a 1st current/voltage transducer 14 and a 2nd current/voltage transducer 15 are set by output voltages of the D/A conversion circuits 35 and 36.
