Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the LPP error rate or jitter is deteriorated by the increase of the modulation degree when a DVD-R is recorded at a high multiple speed. SOLUTION: In the multipulse emission of laser beams containing leading pulses, intermediate pulses and final pulse, the laser emitting time of the intermediate pulses is shortened with respect to that of the final pulse. Thus, the increase of the modulation degree is suppressed since the energy in a long mark is reduced as a whole.
