Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional code that is larger in data capacity than a two-dimensional code of two black and white colors. SOLUTION: The standard of a mean optical density C of each cell has four-level multiple gradations C (0) to C (3) as exemplified in Fig. 3 (c), and a cell 1 of the lowest mean optical density, a cell 3 of the next low level, a cell 4 of the next low level and a cell 2 of the highest mean optical density correspond to two-bit data 00, two-bit data 01, two-bit data 10 and two-bit data 11 respectively. The two-dimensional code can express six-bit data with three multiple-gradation cells as exemplified in Fig. 3 (d). The two-dimensional code can thus realize twice as high an information density as a monochrome two-dimensional code. |
