SMALL ARM SIGHTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem that an operator can not hit a target by a bullet when the target is small due to a distance between the sighting axis of a small arm sighting device and the firing axis of a small arm even when the operator of the small arm is sighting while superposing the target on an sighting reticle. SOLUTION: The small arm sighting device is provided with a target distance inputting means and a sighting reticle position correcting means for indicating the sighting reticle while correcting the position of the same downward by a picture element given by a value of ΔH.f/(R.s) from the position of the picture element showing the direction of the firing axis. In this case, a distance to the target is shown by R, a distance between the sighting axis of the small arm sighting device and the firing axis of the small arm is shown by ΔH, the vertical size of one picture element of an image element in the small arm sighting device is shown by s and the focal length of an optical system is shown by f.
