Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal temperature measuring device for a melting furnace, which enables automatic control of a power supply rate, a supply rate of objects to be melted, or the like for the melting furnace by using detected molten metal temperature signals, through continuous and accurate measurements of the temperature of the molten metal in the melting furnace body. SOLUTION: The device is constituted of a temperature measuring cylinder which is inserted into the melting furnace and whose tip portion is dipped in the molten metal, a temperature detector which is disposed at the upper end portion of the temperature measuring cylinder, for detecting a temperature at the tip of the temperature measuring cylinder, and a molten metal temperature display to which the temperature detection signals from the temperature detector are inputted to indicate a molten metal temperature. The temperature detection signals are inputted to an automatic control unit to control automatic operation of the melting furnace.
