SLIDING DOOR OPENING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door opening device which can be moved by small force both inside or outside a room. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a support member fixed on an inner and outer surfaces of a stile on the tip side of a single sliding door, a support shaft through both support members and the stile on the tip side to be supported by both support members, a room side lever handle having a force point at one end part, a support point at a middle part, and an action point at the other end part, which is fixed to the support shaft at the support point, and of which force point part is protruded to a door end side, and bent in an L-form, and an outside lever handle having a force point at one end part, and a support point at the other end part, which is fixed to the support shaft at the support point, and protruded to the door end side at the force point part, and bent in an L-form. It is also provided with a rotation angle regulating means to regulate a rotation range of the lever handles around the support shaft from an angle where both lever handles stand straight to an angle where the action points of the lever handles are protruded from a front surface of the door tip side stile till both lever handles make prescribed inclination states, and a coil spring to return the lever handle rotated to the inclined state to be straight.
