Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treating apparatus in which a discharge port for discharging the waste treated to be disposable is formed on the lower part of a waste treating tank and an opening/closing cover for opening/closing the discharge port is fit to the inside or outside of the discharge port. SOLUTION: This waste treating apparatus for separating hydrous organic waste into solid waste and sewage and treating the solid waste separated from the sewage is provided with an inverted cone-shaped waste treating tank 1 having a flat bottom surface, an agitation blade 9 rotating along an inverted cone-shaped tapered part 6a of the tank 1, the waste discharging port 2 formed on the side of the part 6a and a controller 31 for driving and controlling the opening/closing cover 3 for opening or closing the port 2 and the blade 9. The cover 3 is opened intermittently so that the prescribed amount of the waste treated in the tank 1 is discharged from the port 2 automatically.
