FIXTURE FOR LASER WELDING ELECTRODE WINDING BODY AND CURRENT-COLLECTING PLATE IN CYLINDRICAL ELECTRIC DOUBLE- LAYER CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture for laser welding, which is capable of easily obtaining a jointed body of a current winding body and a electrode collecting plate in a cylindrical electric double-layer capacitor. SOLUTION: A fixture 40 is has a first cylinder 41, a second cylinder 42, a connection member 43, and an insulating means. The cylinder 41 has an opening 50 on one end and an end wall 45, having welding holes 54 for irradiating a laser beam on the other end. The cylinder 42 has an opening 62 fitting with the opening 50 of the cylinder 41 on one end and an end wall 45, having welding holes 54 for irradiating a laser beam on the other end. The member 43 mates both the openings 50 and 62 of the cylinders 41 and 42 and connects the first and second cylinders 41 and 42 in a state that, in the electrode winding body 3 stored inside the cylinders, a current-collecting plate 4 of one end is pressurized onto a connection portion 14 of the other end by the wall 45 of one end and a current-collecting plate 5 of the other end is pressurized onto a connection portion 15 of the other end by the wall 45 of the other end. The insulating means electrically insulates the first and second cylinders 41 and 42, which are in a connected state.
