Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a convergence characteristic and a focus characteristic in a screen peripheral part and in the entire screen region, in a display device, a cathode ray tube used for it and an electron gun. SOLUTION: This electron gun 23 is provided with a function for shifting a side beam outward in an electron gun electrode as an electron beam is deflected to the screen periphery. This cathode-ray tube is provided with the electron gun 23 and composed by disposing a convergence free type deflection yoke, a deflection yoke of a uniform deflection magnetic field, or the deflection yoke of a uniform deflection magnetic field and a convergence correction magnetic field generation means. This display device is provided with the cathode- ray tube.
