INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system capable of providing service capable of effectively utilizing resources of the whole local network for an external user while sufficiently securing safety of the local network. SOLUTION: An information processing system 11 includes an external connecting machine 21, an external authenticating server 41, and a job executing machine 22. A front end program 21a executed by the external connecting machine 21 requests authentication of the external user from the external authenticating server 41 by log-in information (a user name, and a password) from the external user, and starts a job issuing program 21b on the basis of a command of the access-permitted external user. The job issuing program 21b obtains an external authenticated user name authenticated from the external authenticating server 41 with process ID as a key. A remote job server 51 executes a job by an account of a local user corresponding to the external authenticated user name.
